Not a chance. The price was outstanding for a new gun from Amazon.
I first re-roofed a garage, went without a hitch at all. The next week I roofed the house (22sq) and not one miss fire or jam.
I received my nailer in first rate condition. I ran it at 90lbs and worked like a charm.
I have been using 1' Nails for the garage and 1 1/4" for the house. The gun was easy to adjust, just gotta remember to set it up for the length of nails your going to use.
Showed several friends the gun and now they want to borrow it. I would recommend this gun to anyone, homeowner, or professional.
It seemed to work best with about 90 - 100 psi air pressure, and even worked with lower pressure. I only had a smaller roof to do, but limited time to complete it so I bought the Milwaukee 7120 roofing nailer after reading the reviews. Finished the entire roof without one jam. Definitely will try other Milwaukee products. Thanks.
I have had this Milwaukee for quite a while now and I have used it to install well over a 100 sq. I bought the Milwaukee to replace a porter cable gun that I used to have. I did a lot of searching and comparing roofing guns before I decided to try this one. of shingles and it has performed flawlessly. I have used several different brands and this one holds up just as well as any of them. It's light, durable, comfortable, reliable, and with the added features of the large rubber pads on the sides of the gun and the selectable trigger, I would take this gun over any others. The thick rubber pads keep the gun from sliding off of the roof even on the steeper pitches. It is a true Milwaukee tool and in the future I will be buying more Milwaukee air tools.
I would recommend this nailer to anyone who needs a new roofing nailer. Put the fittings on and went right to work with it.
I went to do a roof and my trusty Porter Cable nailer was broken. I am a professional but I only do a couple of roofs a year, I do mostly windows, doors and sidewalling.
There was no way I could get one at Lowe's of Home Depot for that kind of price. It would take a couple days for the parts to come in so I went online to Amazon and saw the Milwaukee nailer.
I ordered one with overnight shipping and it came to under $200.00. Feel was good as far as weight, no jams worked well with 1 1/4" nails and worked well with 1 3/4" ridge vent nails.
If the price stays the same you just can't beat it.
This is a great roofing gun. Many features, works great in the field and hopefully will have Miwaukee longevity.
